Thankfully, he has the virtue of compassion to try to keep his superpowered fights away from us mortals.<br /><br />They did give him the downside of being compassionate, though: A villain who's short on kryptonite can threaten Superman through innocent bystanders.<br /><br />Of course, God doesn't have any problem with his epic "battle" spilling over into the mortal realm.
